Northern has been growing, packing, and delivering high quality cherries to our customers around the world since 1928. Northern packs cherries from the first week in June until early August. We export cherries to Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, Korea, Canada, Mexico, England, Norway, Brazil, Mexico and dozens of other countries around the world.

Our cherry sorting system delivers superior quality.
Northern installed double length cherry sorting tables to increase the capacity and consistency of our sorting. Our system reduces the percentage of defects in each box and allows us to continue packing even when the crop is damaged by Mother Nature.

Northern uses Lifespan Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) bags.
Northern packs and ships our cherries in Lifespan MAP bags which give our cherries added storage life. Lifespan technology was developed in Australia and has been proven successful in shipping over ten million boxes of cherries and other produce worldwide.

We pack with modern cherry handling technology, including new Van Doren dumpers, cluster cutters, sizers, baggers, and other equipment. Our line also features a double hydro-cooler system to cool cherries rapidly.
